2018/19 Winter Season Information

WINTER METRO LEAGUE - RECREATIONAL HOCKEY
Winter Metro League is a recreational ice hockey program for boys and girls from 6U-14U. All skill levels are welcome!  Metro teams compete against each other in a fun, developmental, yet competitive environment. Our coaches support the USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM).

EVALUATIONS:  After you register for the Winter Metro League, the first step is to be evaluated.  The league will hold two days of Metro Evaluations on September 8th & 9th, 2018 for all recreational players. Each player will report to the appropriate evaluation time where coaches will watch the players skate and scrimmage.  It is important to attend both days.  Coaches will be evaluating the players and forming teams based on skill level.  Every effort is made to form teams of even skill for parity to start the season.  Evaluation Schedule will be posted soon on the Jr. Winterhawks Calendar.

Once evaluations are completed and teams are formed, you will receive a call from the coach of your team and an invitation to join the specific Stack Sports (formerly Bonzi) team page, where communications and schedule information will be posted during the season.  You will then report to your first ice time as listed on the schedule and begin practicing.
